On behalf of Save Our Darling Downs, the Darling Downs Environment Centre and Lock the Gate Alliance, we are excited to invite you to attend “Energy Done Right”, a policy forum to be held on at the Irish Club on Tuesday the 8th of October.
Join MPs, candidates and local community members ahead of the Queensland state election to discuss the future of energy on the Darling Downs.
This will be an opportunity to ask local members of parliament and candidates from the LNP, ALP, Greens and Pauline Hanson’s One Nation about their policies on issues that matter to us — like protecting prime agricultural land, food bowl security, impacts of coal seam gas and how to build renewables right.
With the election just weeks away, it's important that politicians hear from us about these issues and take our concerns to form their policy position.
