The Darling Downs Environment Council is now based at the old Guide Hut at Picnic Point and we would love you to come to our opening party/picnic to celebrate our new location.
After a few speeches about DDEC and our new building we will welcome you to and enjoy our tea, coffee, a wrap for lunch and a range of platters and cakes at no cost. We will also host a range of stalls, information talks and local musicians through the afternoon for your enjoyment.
We hope to share this celebration in the great outdoors (weather permitting), and the nearby children’s playground to launch our Environment Centre which will be shared by local environment groups into the future.
